1st Swim
I had to post these really quick. Olivia had such a fun day swimming in Nana's jacuzzi :)

8 months old
It has been a crazy 3 months. Olivia is growing like a weed and I went back to work, which accounts for the lack of posts. Who has time to blog when I don't even have time to sleep. :(
She is still a happy, active baby. She babbles constantly and likes to turn up the volume when we are in restaurants. We are now the ones with the loud kid who won't quit sitting right behind you. You love us :)
She has a mouthful of teeth in various stages of emerging, so she is still the constant drooler.
She can sit by herself and rolls like a little tumbleweed where ever she wants to go. No crawling yet, I have tried to explain the theory of a straight line to her, but she has no interest in crawling forward. I am sure she'll get the idea in a couple of weeks and we will have to hide everything ankle level that can fit in her mouth.
Her new favorite thing is to hold on to our fingers to pull herself to standing. She will even take some wobbly steps while we are supporting her. The problem is that is not the most comfortable position for us to maintain, so we usually give up before she does which always brings on a meltdown.
Olivia will be spending the summer playing with her Aunt Leah, who is home from college for a few months and agreed to be our nanny for the summer. We are so glad that little O will be at home for a few more months and we can put off the day care thing for a while longer. It makes the transition back to work a bit easier.
Grandma and Grandpa Moon came and stayed with her for the month of April which was great for us too. Our dinner was on the table ready for us when we got home from work practically every night. How cool is that?! Needless to say, the post-pregnancy diet went out the window for a few weeks, but for grandma's cooking, it was well worth it. We hardly knew what to do with ourselves when we didn't have to argue over whose turn it was to make dinner.
Aside from the food, it was wonderful to have them around. We had a babysitter and a handyman at our disposal for 6 weeks! Scott and I actually got to go on our first date since O was born. It was a semi-work related event at a Padres game so I am not sure if that is really my idea of a date, but it did involve food and drinks outside of our home after 8 pm so I can't complain.
