2 months old

Elise is now 2 months old, 12 lbs and 23 inches long. These past few weeks have been a blur of diapers, feedings, naps, and laundry. I had forgotten how time just slips away in these first few months. Some days I couldn't tell you what I did all day. Still, I find it is hard to just sit quietly with Elise and not constantly be thinking about all the other things I need to do. Cleaning, shopping, cooking... there is the rest of the family here after all. I have to remind myself that this baby time goes by quick, so I should enjoy it while I can and worry about that growing pile of dishes in the sink later.

The Big #4

Last year she was treated like a princess, this year a rock star. Olivia celebrated her 4th birthday bouncing with 30 of her closest friends. We invited every child we know to a bounce-house warehouse and let them run wild. The kids had a blast and went home exhausted. As it should be. Here are the highlights.
